Business Development Representative (m/f/d)
What is Jedox?
Your Responsibilities
- Book sales appointments: Create targeted outreach strategies to engage decision-makers within our Ideal Customer Profile across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- AI-powered workflow ownership: Continuously test and improve AI-assisted workflows for research, personalization, and outreach. Bring structured experiments and learnings back to the wider BD team.
- Effective messaging: Deliver clear, compelling communication tailored to planning, forecasting, modeling, and budgeting challenges. Messages are personalized to each account and persona, not templated.
- Prospect research: Use buyer-intent signals, data enrichment tools, and AI-assisted research workflows to identify high-priority accounts and build informed outreach hypotheses.
- Pipeline ownership across all motions: This is a predominantly outbound role. You will run structured outbound campaigns across selected target verticals, opportunistic reactivation motions targeting former Jedox users and closed-lost accounts, and account-based outreach tied to intent signals. On top of that, you will be responsible for following up on webinar leads, trade show contacts, and demo requests.
- Multi-channel outreach cadences: Design and iterate on email, phone, and LinkedIn sequences to maximize engagement. You are expected to own the logic of your cadences, not just execute them.
- Collaboration with Marketing and Sales: Work closely with both teams to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly pipeline metrics.
Your Profile
- Ideally, you already bring around 6 months of Business Development experience in a quota-carrying position, ideally at a B2B SaaS company. Strong candidates with less experience and exactly the right mindset are equally welcome.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools. We expect you to be comfortable using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar large language models for daily research, account intelligence, and outreach personalization. You don't just use these tools to draft emails; you use them to work smarter across your entire workflow.
- Proven ability to prospect and qualify independently. You don't wait for a playbook to be handed to you.
- Experience with cold calling, structured email sequencing, and LinkedIn engagement. You know what good looks like and you push your own standard.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. You can adapt your message to a CFO, an FP&A manager, and a VP of Finance in the same morning.
- Comfortable with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, 6sense, and other AI tools.
- Familiarity with data enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo, or similar) is a strong plus.
- You continuously look for ways to improve how things are done, and you like to take ownership of making them better.
This role is based in Boston, MA. We believe in-person BD collaboration is a competitive advantage and require a minimum of three days per week in the office. Candidates already based in the Boston area or willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.
What’s in It for You
- High-caliber audience: You will be speaking with CFOs, FP&A leaders, and VPs of Finance who are actively working out how AI is reshaping planning and forecasting.
- A market-leading product: Jedox is a recognized leader in Enterprise Performance Management, with a strong brand in our target verticals and a growing customer base across Europe and North America.
- An international team: You will be part of a global organization, working with colleagues across Europe and the US.
